Our amazing team of practice development midwives are here to support your personal development needs. The team will coordinate all your training and, if needed, are more than happy to support you in clinical areas too. 

Your mandatory online training takes place over the course of a week—and we’ll allocate set times across this period to ensure you complete it without disrupting other commitments. We also run career clinics each year to help you find a career path that’s right for you.

Get involved in research

Interested in pursuing a career in research, clinical specialties or management? We have development opportunities through our brilliant apprenticeship schemes. Our development committee is representative of staff from all bandings to ensure fair and transparent allocation of funds across departments, schemes and specialties.
